MVM delivered one of our refurbished kiosks for BT to a Children in Need 2010 photo shoot at Old Trafford .

Manchester United player Michael Owen played ball and posed for photos with Pudsey bear .

MVM designed, manufactured and installed a range of Internet kiosks for Spectrum Interactive at Heathrow airport.

The modular range of kiosks can be adapted for either two, four or six user stations in either black or white back painted safety glass. The kiosks come complete with Corian fabricated desks and E-leather clad seat cubes.

MVM design and manufactured the Xen range of kiosks for Protouch.

The family consists of the  X4 kiosk, the smallest kiosk in the range and  can either be mounted to a wall or on a separate floor stand. The X5 kiosk is a sleek free standing kiosk while the larger X6 kiosk can house a variety of components including laser printers.

After the photo shoot was over our team removed the kiosk and installed it at a permanent location

This project started with meetings with representatives from LUL to discuss the project requirements and how to proceed. MVM supplied technical assistance to LUL in order to achieve the best practicable design solution and produced all the manufacturing drawings. On completion of the design concepts, MVM supplied detailed quotations for the completion of manufacturing drawings, manufacture, assembly and installation of the Samaritan phones.

We have now manufactured and supplied a prototype housing which has been installed in Mile End station.

BT Heavy fabric Maintenance

MVM have won the BT contract to  manage and undertake all heavy fabric maintenance activities. These activities include installations and removals of telephone kiosks on the mainland UK and general repairs to the structure of the kiosk. This is a 24-7 operation and we have teams on call 365 days a year to respond to emergencies. As part of the contract we also undertake the painting of the red telephone box.

As one can imagine this is an extensive operation requiring skilled dedicated professionals to deliver each and every job on time and to the right standard.  Statutory notices are controlled by MVM and each job is carefully planned and coordinated to ensure the most efficient route is planned for each job.

Teams must follow strict operating procedures, with check sheets compiled and photos taken  for key stages in each activity. All paper work and photos are carefully checked by management to ensure all work has been completed to standard.
